Weekend Action for Dads and Kids ‹ Back to News

The Dads and children sessions came to an end Saturday 23rd May. The 5 dads and 9 children who attended said they really enjoyed all the activities and would miss it.

11 sessions were held since February from 10 - 1.30. Two activities (such as making a machine, making music, digital photography, making a picture frame, making music from recycled items, making a movie) were included as well as cooking together which was a weekly session.

The children were really excited about their time with dad, and loved the cooking especially. After evaluation of the Spring session it was decided to start at 10.30 and do one activity along with the cooking session. Break time between the sessions included a healthy fruit drink.
