Autumn Newsletter

'How to develop a family approach to active citizenship', a two day training which will take place in Ennis on 15th and 16th October. Cost: 150 euro. For more information and to book a place contact [Email removed]
Set up 21 courses using 11 types of programme in 17 locations with 9 tutors.
Completed three days of family learning tutor training in September in Ennis with tutors from Dublin, Clonmel, Cashel, Tipperary and Co. Clare.
Two funding proposals were submitted this month.
A new publication called Traveller Life, a collection of stories and poems put together during our ITABE family learning programme, is on its way to the publishers.
Look out for our contribution to be published in the next NALA journal detailing our very successful integrated provision for Travellers in family learning. A condensed version of the article will be available on the European Family Learning Network website (www.efln.eu ) in the near future.
Our FACE IT project was completed on 30th Sept.2008, with a final evaluation and financial report.
We are currently working with film producer Anthony Hughes producing a short promotional family learning DVD.
